Digital Embellishment Unit
This innovation is a joint development by three Swiss companies – Steinemann DPE AG, Actega Schmid Rhyner AG and Gallus Ferd. Rüesch AG. The Digital Embellishment Unit (DEU) is able to carry out inline coating and metallization digitally using UV inkjet technology and apply matte, gloss and tactile spot coating effects as well as metallization effectsto the substrate web in various thicknesses.
